To commemorate Jane Austen’s literary genius and her 250th birthday in 2025, we present the Jane Austen Pen. The second in our esteemed Writers Pen series, following the Shakespeare Pen, it honours her legacy
Crafted in sterling silver at our Emsworth workshop near her Hampshire cottage, this limited edition of 200 celebrates her story.
At 129mm in length and 12mm barrel diameter, it’s smaller than the Shakespeare Pen. Ideal for those who prefer a refined, compact design.
The cap features a laser-engraved portrait, inspired by Cassandra’s famous sketch at the National Portrait Gallery. A facsimile of Jane’s autograph adorns the cap band.
The clip is set with a beautiful Turquoise stone which is the birthstone for December, Jane's birth month, but also a reminder of her iconic gold and turquoise stone ring that was auctioned by Sotheby's in 2012.
Each pen is unique with an edition number on the barrel end. English hallmarks—the year date and sterling silver lion—stamp our heritage craftsmanship.
