Conway Stewart Duro Opal

$402.00

25 Limited Editions

The Duro Opal shimmers with white and cream pearlescent crystals in a beautiful resin.  Each pen is unique and as you turn the pen in your hand, you will see more depth and more colours. The material is slightly translucent which adds to its uniqueness. Set off with a single wide 9ct gold band which can be engraved with one’s initials. There are 3 other 9ct gold thin rings that adorn this pen; above the nib holder, before the blind barrel end and the tassie ring.

First launched in 1924, the Duro is a timeless classic British pen from Conway Stewart, the right size for the pocket and treasured by both the men and women who use this pen in their daily professional lives. Its timeless lines are pure 1920's, but are as contemporary and valid today as when the pen was first designed. The Duro uses the same iconic Conway Stewart clip as fitted to the Churchill mounted on the side of the cap. The cap tassie, the nib holder and the barrel blind end are all in high density polished black acrylic giving the Duro that classical look that is often referred to “Bracketed”.

Each fountain pen is housed in an original Conway Stewart black leatherette presentation box which doubles as an elegant desk display, and comes complete with Certificate of Authenticity, Conway Stewart User Guide and a special anti-tarnish polishing cloth to keep your pen in sparkling condition.

In addition to selecting the nib width; you may further customise your nib to match your writing style, choosing from:

  • Italic
  • Left Oblique
  • Right Oblique

This pen has a dual filling system.
