The Conway Stewart Silvicity Series was launched in 2009 and combined the beauty of Sterling Silver with bold colours and an 18ct gold #5 nib, giving these pens a sleek and modern approach to the traditional world of fountain pens.
There were 5 colours in the original series; Sunrise Yellow, Sunset Orange, Modena Red, Royale Blue and Teal. Each pen colour is bracketed by polished silver components, with the cap tassie, nib section, and barrel end being solid sterling silver. English hall-marks are laser engraved into the barrel end to prove the quality of the materials used.
We have a very limited edition of each colour, and this Silvicity Teal and is a limited edition of 20 and was one of the most popular colours.
The combination of elegant resin and solid sterling silver results in a fine writing instrument that is both practical and beautiful: precisely balanced to allow the solid 18 carat gold nib to glide precisely across the paper with effortless ease, while still sized to fit neatly into pocket or purse. These are small to medium sized pens but with some weight to them from the Sterling Silver. Choose the bold colours that suits your personality and bring joy and fun to your writing.
Each pen is housed in a Conway Stewart black leather presentation box which also serves as a showcase pen stand for your desk.
In addition to selecting the nib width; you may further customise your nib to match your writing style, choosing from:

This pen has a dual filling system. It is fitted with a converter (reservoir) which allows the user to draw ink from a bottle or alternatively, you may remove the converter and use standard European ink cartridges. All our fountain pens come with 2 complimentary cartridges so you can start to use it immediately. If you prefer to use bottled ink, we recommend our own range of high quality ink, made in England and available in a range of colours.
