How to become a Trade Partner?
Steps to become a Trade Partner
First you must meet our criteria become a Trade Partner:
- Applying as an Independent Pen Shop
- Must have a physical store
- Must agree not to discount our products any more than 5% both in-store and online

How to access the Trade Portal?
Steps to access the Trade Portal
Once your Trade Sign-up Form has been approved you will be granted a unique discount code that you will apply at checkout to reduce your total order value to our trade price.
We also encourage all our Trade Customers to create a customer account with us so they can track their orders.

Shipping Terms, Taxes and Duties
UK Trade Partners
- We ship to all our UK Trade Partners with DHL Express
- All UK Trade Partners minimum delivery charge is £60
- We charge VAT on all our UK Trader Partner's orders
European Trade Partners
- We ship to all our European Trade Partners with DHL Express.
- All European Trade Partners minimum delivery charge is £60.
- We send our orders to our European Trade Partners with the incoterms DAP "Delivered At Place". Under a DAP agreement, the seller "Conway Stewart" is responsible for the transportation of goods up to the agreed-upon destination, but not for the import clearance, taxes, or customs duties. The seller covers the costs and risks associated with delivering the goods to the destination, but the buyer "European Trade Partner" is responsible for import clearance, taxes, and customs duties in their country.
- Duties: UK-EU Trade Agreement, known as the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA), came into effect on January 1, 2021. Under this agreement, there is tariff-free for goods traded between the UK and the EU, provided that these goods meet the Rules of Origin requirements. Conway Stewart products, which are manufactured in the UK, meet the Rules of Origin requirements, as they are produced using UK-based materials and labor. Consequently, our European customers can benefit from duty-free access to our high-quality products.
- We request, if not otherwise provided for the Trade Partner to share their VAT / Sales Tax number and EORI.
Rest of the World Trade Partners
- We ship to all our Rest of the World Trade Partners with DHL Express.
- All Rest of the World Trade Partners minimum delivery charge is £60.
- We send our orders to our Rest of the World Trade Partners with the incoterms DAP "Delivered At Place". Under a DAP agreement, the seller "Conway Stewart" is responsible for the transportation of goods up to the agreed-upon destination, but not for the import clearance, taxes, or customs duties. The seller covers the costs and risks associated with delivering the goods to the destination, but the buyer "European Trade Partner" is responsible for import clearance, taxes, and customs duties in their country.
- Duties are dependent on your local tax agency, please refer to them prior to purchasing with us to understand any applicable fees. The UK does have many Trade Agreements, you can explore them further through this link. Under this agreement, there is tariff-free for goods traded between the UK and the EU, provided that these goods meet the Rules of Origin requirements.
