Le Conway Stewart Detection Club Pen rend hommage à l'une des sociétés littéraires les plus exclusives au monde. Conçu en collaboration avec l'auteur de romans policiers Michael Jecks, ce stylo célèbre le Detection Club, fondé en 1930 par de grands noms de la littérature tels qu'Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers et G.K. Chesterton.
Sont gravés sur son corps et son capuchon les noms des membres fondateurs et anciens présidents du Club, parmi lesquels des figures telles que Harry Keating, Simon Brett et Martin Edwards. Au sommet du capuchon trône "Eric the Skull", la mascotte emblématique du Club, au cœur de ses cérémonies d'intronisation depuis l'époque de Dorothy L. Sayers. Une bague rouge sur le clip, symbolisant le "sang dans l'écriture", rappelle avec subtilité le drame propre au roman policier.
Le design du stylo allie praticité et élégance. Compact mais dense, ce stylo a été conçu par des écrivains pour des écrivains. Le corps chemisé de laiton assure une écriture stable et confortable. Son double système de remplissage accepte aussi bien les cartouches d'encre que l'encre en flacon, offrant une polyvalence adaptée à chaque écrivain. Le stylo se glisse sans effort dans une poche, alliant portabilité et style intemporel.
La large bague de capuchon est en or 9ct et porte les poinçons anglais attestant sa pureté et sa qualité. Les autres bagues du stylo sont également en or 9ct.

Le numéro d'édition de chaque stylo est gravé à l'extrémité du corps, et chaque stylo est livré avec un chiffon de polissage, un livret expliquant les poinçons anglais et un guide d'utilisation.
Présenté dans un coffret spécialement conçu qui fait également office de porte-stylo, le Detection Club Pen est accompagné d'un certificat d'authenticité. 18ct GOLD CONWAY STEWART NIB
You may select one of our Conway Stewart 18ct gold nibs to be fitted to your fountain pen. They have been acclaimed by many of our customers for their ‘smooth-as-butter’ writing experience. Each nib is embossed with the Conway Stewart emblem.
FILLING MECHANISM
This pen has a dual filling system. It is fitted with a converter (reservoir) which allows the user to draw ink from a bottle or alternatively, you may remove the converter and use standard European ink cartridges. All our fountain pens come with 2 complimentary cartridges so you can start to use it immediately. If you prefer to use bottled ink, we recommend our own range of high quality ink, made in England and available in a range of colours.
