Winston had only been appointed the Prime Minister on 10 May 1940, and at a time when Nazi Germany seemed to be invincible and Great Britain was at its Darkest Hour. The pressure on the man must have been immense. She knows he needs help, and so she starts her letter by saying \"\u003cem\u003eMy Darling, I hope you will forgive me if I tell you something that I feel you ought to know\u003c\/em\u003e\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe letter is a wonderful example of how she supported her husband throughout their lives with love and wise words. She was undoubtedly his most important advisor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe Lady Churchill Pen\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAvailable in two colours; Burgundy Pearl or Blue Stardust. On top of the cap is the image of her \"Kat\" which she drew at the bottom of her letter.  The wide cap band is made from 9ct Gold and stamped with English hall-marks to show its purity and quality.
