The Duro Brown Whirl is a gorgeous mix of a rich brown and green acrylic swirls that’s beautifully set off the Cap that has a single wide 9ct gold band which can be engraved with one’s initials or a special date. There are 3 other 9ct gold thin rings that adorn this pen; above the nib holder, before the blind barrel end and the tassie ring.
First launched in 1924, the Duro is a timeless classic British pen from Conway
Stewart, the right size for the pocket and treasured by both the men and women who use this pen in their daily professional lives.
Its timeless lines are pure 1920's, but are as contemporary and valid today as when
the pen was first designed. The Duro uses the same iconic Conway Stewart clip as fitted to the Churchill mounted on the side of the cap. The cap tassie, the nib holder and the barrel blind end are all in high density polished black acrylic giving the Duro that classical look that is often referred to “Bracketed”.
Each fountain pen is housed in an original Conway Stewart black leatherette presentation box which doubles as an elegant desk display, and comes complete with Certificate of Authenticity, Conway Stewart User Guide and a special anti-tarnish polishing cloth to keep your pen in sparkling condition.
