The Conway Stewart Collectors Pen in Bracken is a beautiful mixture of iridescent greens, ambers, and reddish browns in a peaty black background perfectly complimented with 9ct gold rings and an 18ct gold nib.
The colour "Bracken" is an old Conway Stewart colour named after the Bracken Fern which grows on Dartmoor in England and changes colour at different times of the year giving the landscape a magical feeling.
The Conway Stewart Collectors Pen in Bracken is a medium sized pen which makes it perfect for use as a daily writer and fits neatly into a shirt pocket.
The original Conway Stewart Collectors Pen range was launched in the 100th year of Conway Stewart, and called the Centenary Collectors Pen. It was initially only available to members of the Conway Stewart Collectors Club (hence the name) but later they were also sold through some selected Conway Stewart stockists. As a consequence, they are very rare.
The Collectors Pen was the first Conway Stewart to be launched with a stepped cap top and stepped barrel end since the early 1900's. The barrel also has a taper giving it a balanced and elegant look.
Made from the original components turned in the Plymouth factory, and hand-assembled in our workshop in Hampshire, England.
