The famous Churchill quotes in the series include;-
- All Will Be Well
- Never Give In
- Action This Day
- KBO
- I am an Optimist
- Victory At All Costs
The sixth in the Series is "VICTORY AT ALL COSTS” and is available in 2 colours either Classic Black or Midnight Blue.
On 10 May 1940, Churchill accepted the King’s commission to form a government. Three days later he delivered his electrifying first speech to the House of Commons as Prime Minister, which became known as the “Blood, toil, tears and sweat” speech. In his debut address, he explained that Britain’s goal in war was “VICTORY AT ALL COSTS”.
“You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word; It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory, there is no survival”.
The “Pug” pen
Engraved on the top of the cap of all the Heritage pens is the iconic sketch of “Pug” that Winston penned on a letter to his wife Clementine dated 1st August 1909. There is also a facsimile of the letter hand written by Winston that accompanies every pen. Clementine called Winston “my sweet pug” and in turn he often drew little animated pictures of “pug” at the bottom of his letters to her. This one with the letter “W” above its head looks very similar to a bulldog that people often associate with the great man.
Engraving on the barrel
On the barrel of this pen is the quote "VICTORY AT ALL COSTS” and underneath this is Winston S Churchill’s signature, and under that is the words “Made in Great Britain” that refers both to the pen and the Great Man.
A book “Good Advice from Winston Churchill”
A book called “All will be well – Good advice from Winston Churchill” is supplied with each pen listing 120 of his sayings; many are still as relevant today to live our lives as they were when penned by the famous man.
Winston Churchill’s Red Cabinet Box
Each pen comes in a replica of one of Winston Churchill’s Red Cabinet Box – these are the brief cases used by ministers of the British Government to carry official papers. On the lid is another of one of his famous quotes “I have always earned my living by my pen”. Inside the box is a foam insert holding a copy of the book “All Will Be Well” containing many of his famous quotes, and a bottle of green ink. Also included is a facsimile of Churchill’s 1909 letter to his wife showing his actual handwriting and his sketch of the “Pug”.
Limited Edition of 100 pens world-wide
Only 100 pens will be made of each of the quotes in the series, and each pen comes with a certificate detailing the edition number.
